Adam Bryan is the Managing Director of the South East LEP and leads our overall strategy, managing the relationship with Board members, businesses and the Government and taking overall responsibility for delivery, performance, finances and governance and accountability. Adam has prior experience in economic development policy and strategy development in local authorities and in project management and delivery at a Regional Development Agency.
Amy manages board meetings and works with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of working group activities, including management Growth Hubs and Tourism. Amy is currently working on implementation of the National Assurance Framework at a local level and supporting management of Tri-LEP Energy Strategy.
As Strategy Manager Georgina acts as the lead interface with government and partners around the Industrial Strategy, managing and coordinating SELEP’s sector based working groups as defined by the Strategic Economic Plan (SEP). Georgina is currently refreshing the SEP – once designed this will act as a tool to leverage opportunities and discussions with senior government officials and ministers.
ERDF Technical Facilitator
Jo Simmons is our Technical Facilitator for European Regional Development Funding (ERDF). Jo leads on providing technical advice, guidance and coordination to partners and stakeholders wishing to access ERDF, to fund large-scale business support programmes across the SELEP area. Jo has previous experience in the development and delivery of collaborative, landscape scale projects and programmes that are underpinned by European law.

EU Funding Lead
Lorraine George is our EU Funding Strategic Lead and worked with stakeholders from across the LEP area to produce the ESIF Strategy document, which is the basis for all the £161 million EU funding projects submitted under the current programme period. Lorraine has worked on EU funding for 30 years, running programmes in Denmark and Hungary and also working as an adviser on Interreg funding to the European Commission in Brussels.
