SELEP Annual General Meeting 2020
Why Diversity in business is more important than ever
Join us to hear why diversity is more important than ever for successful businesses and about the work of the South East LEP over 2019-20.
The session will feature a keynote address from Denise Wilson OBE, Chief Executive of the Hampton-Alexander Review on the opportunity that diversity of thought can bring to businesses in the South East.
We will also hear from Kit Ahweyevu, Founder and CEO, MindWeaver on ensuring that racial equality, diversity and inclusion are at the centre of SELEP’s initiatives for the development and provision of digital skills in the South East.
This is also an opportunity to learn more about the work of the South East LEP over 2019-20, and, in particular, how we have supported the South East business community in recent months since COVID 19 hit the economy. We will review the year and focus attention on the challenges we are all facing in the coming months, including continuing to embed diversity and inclusion throughout the operations of our partnership for the benefit of business and to ensure our investments meet the needs of all communities in the South East.
This is an open, public meeting, please share with your networks.
